I remember when I would avoid neutrals like somehow I would turn into a frumpy, boring person if they touched my face. Now, I love the simplicity of the look. I’ve been using the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette pretty religiously so figured I had no need for the Naked Basics palette. Well I was wrong… I ended up purchasing it and using it almost everyday. I travel quite a bit and it’s so tiny and convenient for travel. I created today’s look with nothing but the Naked 2 palette. I even filled my brows with an eyeshadow from the palette. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a palette that I could do that with.
I realize this is a pretty boring post but I’m pretty stoked that I can travel with one eye palette and had to share with you. Also, it was a perfect way to participate in A Brilliant Brunette’s Brilliant Beauty Challenge for Instagram. Today’s theme was “go-to makeup look” and this is definitely the look I come back to. I love that I can pretty much wear any lip with this look.

I’m not much of a denim person but lately my favorite jeans are a pair of men’s vintage Levi’s I thrifted and distressed. They are just so cozy!!! I call them my toyfriend jeans.
