I know I don’t really do haul posts or videos but I definitely wanted to share with you some shoes I got over the weekend. You know those shopping days when you try on 80 things and nothing fits right? Well this day EVERYTHING fit perfect. I don’t know if it was a good or bad thing bad but I ended up coming home with 4 pairs of heels all from Macy’s. If you want to see these shoes live, I did do a YouTube video of me wearing them so you can get a better idea how they look on.
The first pair that caught my eye were a pair of high, platform Mary Janes by Jessica Simpson. Mary Janes are something I gravitate towards quite often. These were slightly different because the strap on the shoes were purely for looks as opposed to a normal Mary Jane that actually have a purpose. In other words, you could remove the strap and not affect the shoe’s wear at all. It kinda just hangs there BUT looks adorable! The name of the shoe is the Cheetah Pump.
What’s awesome about these shoes is you don’t have to buckle anything. It truly is a pump with a strap over it. These shoes have a 2″ platform and a 5 1/2″ heel. A necessity for the vertically challenged like myself. The shoes come in a bunch of different color variations and were $98. These ran slightly small so I grabbed a 7.5. The rest of the shoes I purchased are a size 7.
The strap itself is a shiny, patent leather.
I also love the textured platform. I think it adds some personality to this pretty basic (but HOT) shoe.
I have a habit of buying just funky shoes and sometimes I need something a little more “feminine”. The Jessica Simpson Elso Pumps caught my eye because they were feminine with a little edge to it and they looked super comfortable. AND they were very comfortable!! I have been into T-Strap shoes lately and this suede covered one was perfect. It has a 1 1/2″ covered platform and a 5″ heel. These were $89 and also came in some awesome color combinations.
The Jessica Simpson Taz Wedge Sandals caught my eye because they looked like a good “everyday” shoe. I honestly thought they weren’t very high but in reality they also had a 1 1/2″ platform and a 5″ wedge. Soooo not exactly an “everyday” shoe but they are so comfortable I can see myself wearing these a lot. These were $89 and come in 2 colors.
I think the divided wedge heel gave it the illusion that they weren’t that high.
I saved the best for last. You know when you are trying on shoes and whoever was trying on shoes before you left their box there? Well this is what was laying next to me and I HAD to try them on in my size. These are the amazing Rachel Roy Kimi Platform Pumps. Keep in mind if you are planning to purchase these online that for some reason there are several variations of this shoe but they are all called the Kimi. I couldn’t find this exact shoe on Macy’s website.
Pyramid studded deliciousness…. I was in love. These pumps have a 1″ platform and a 5″ heel. I love that the shoe is embellished ALLOVER. Also, the studs are all connected to each other if that makes any sense. It’s a part of the shoe as opposed to an embellishment that is put on the shoe. These were only $99! I totally expected them to be more especially since I tried them on without checking the price first (big mistake).
The bottoms of the shoes are this amazing royal purple color with this pearly sheen to it. You can see the studding is larger at the top of the heel and tapers down as the heel does.
I didn’t intentionally get so many pairs of Jessica Simpsons but I do love her shoes!! I hope you guys enjoyed my little shoe haul!
