Party of Five Glitters
I wasn’t planning on blogging about this polish I picked up the other day because I could NOT capture the polish on camera like I wanted to. I get frustrated when I can’t show you guys how pretty something is but I keep looking at my nails and just HAD to share with you.
I went to Walgreens to pick up some light bulbs and couldn’t resist running by cosmetics to see if there was anything interesting that I needed to pick up. I caught a glimpse of a Wet n Wild polish I had never seen before. It was full of different sized, shaped and colored glitter and for $1.99 I had to pick it up. To be honest with you, I’m not a huge fan of multicolored glitter normally but I just liked this one. It’s a clear polish filled with large silver hex glitters, medium light blue, green & fuschia hex glitters and tiny red, green & gold hex glitters. The different sized hex glitters gave the polish an almost 3d effect.
As far as application, I had to sort of “glob” it on in order to get the glitter dispersed onto the nail instead of dragging the glitter off. This polish is supposed to be a quick dry and I would have to say it did dry fast being that I had to apply it pretty thick. I used Zoya Kelly as a base here.
I really, really love this polish and I’m hoping there are more variations available. If I get a better picture, I will post it for you guys.
