Holiday Party FOTD
Sorry for my little hiatus… I’ve been quite busy the last couple of weeks but I’m back with a look I did for a Holiday party I went to last week. I used a couple new products that night and I’m pretty happy with them both.
The first new product I used was Guerlain Meteorites in Teint Rose which is supposed to be the revamped Mystic. This is my first time trying it so I can’t compare the two. I actually wore it yesterday with ZERO foundation and really liked the result. I will probably do a separate post on this product once I’ve used it for a little longer. I ended up using this everyday since I purchased it.
The other product that I used for the first time was the Urban Decay Black Palette. This palette is definitely more up my alley than their other palettes including the Naked Palette. The major reasons I loved this palette was it is perfect for smokey eyes, no chunky glitter and I liked ALL the colors. Keep in mind that the colors apply way more black than they appear in pan… hence Black Palette. The palette consists of a sooty black matte shadow and 5 black based, jewel toned shadows. I used this quite a bit on my trip to Vegas after this event. Talk about quick smokey eye!! This palette should be called Automatic Smokey Eye Palette. This is a Limited Edition Sephora Exclusive palette.
So here is the look I created with these products. I also used MAC She Who Dares Mineralize eyeshadow from Venomous Villains to add a little pop to the look and Industrial Pearlglide on the lower lashline.
