The Smokey Eye That Wouldn’t Photograph

I was playing with MAC Sweet Sienna pigment and I ended up LOVING the look but it just would NOT photograph like I wanted to.  I mean when do I ever end up with ONE picture?!  *shrugs*  I’m also kind of irked that my blush didn’t show up in this pic.  This was also the look I wore in the two videos I shot today.  I wasn’t even going to post this but here you go…

I can say though that I created a new nude lip.  I can’t really do a true nude so this is as “nude” as I get.  It was basically my foundation with some Korres Jasmine Lip Butter over it.

  4. I think you look beautiful! I can see the blush on the lower end of your cheek bones and it looks really nice. It looks like you just have a whiter highlight over it on the top. I love Sweet Sienna pigment, it is so fun to play with.

    • Thank ya darlin! Blush is totally washed out compared to real life but what else is new. ;)

  5. It still looks great!
    I’m loving the lips :D

I wish my pictures would photograph half as good as yours usually do :(

Your hair rocks by the way!

  6. What a gorgeous way to do a blue smokey eye! I’m always afraid to wear blue for work, but I think I try to replicate your look soon as it looks very sophisticated.

Btw I’ve found the same problem with blush on photos.. I’m finding that I’m actually putting double the amount of blush on for the photo, then tissuing some of it off before I leave the house. Abit silly I know haha

    • I think a lot of women are afraid to wear blue to work but it can be toned down. Try a more grey based blue?

AND not silly, a lot of beauty bloggers do it lol

  7. Just recently found your blog and I have to say that I am very very impressed! This is gorgeous and your skills are amazing. I am definately going to be recreating this soon! :D
