My Sigma package is here!!!
Ohhhh I was so excited for this order to get here!!! Thank goodness it came incredibly fast! I’m always so excited to open up packages…. So this is what I saw when I opened the box up.
It was packaged so perfectly and was just so bright and cheerful. I received the Eye Kit brush set and the Beauty on the Go Kit Smokey Eyes. I was definitely impressed when I started opening everything up. All the packaging was very professional and eye catching. The marketing material that was included was colorful, informative and fun.
The concept of this kit is actually pretty genius. The individual eyeshadow simply pop out of their packaging and pop right into a convenient, 4 palette with a mirror. The customizable palette is not a new concept in makeup but what makes this unique in my eyes is that if I don’t want to take a 4 palette I can easily take the shadow out of the palette and put it back into it’s individual container. This might make better sense in pictures and when I do a video review. This kit retails for $27.
This is how everything looks when you initially open everything up.
This is how the back of the eyeshadow packaging looks before it it “popped out” of it’s packaging. The individual eyeshadows have a little mirror in them as well!
This is how the palette looks completed. The individual eyeshadows are shown on the right “popped out”.
Here is the closeup of the shadows. At first glance, this looks like a really pretty silvery quad.
I quickly swatched them. It’s pretty obvious which colors are more pigmented. They all feel very silky and smooth. I will have to do a look using this palette in order to tell you how I really feel about the quality.
The little pamphlet that comes with the kit is really cute. It does give some suggestions on how to use this palette. I spy a little typo (the word suggested) *nudges Sigma*
Again, this palette is available here for $27. It also comes in “Blush and Highlight” and “Fun Colors”. I hope they really run with this idea and start selling more singles so that I can customize my palette.
And now for the brushes…
They are individually packaged. I have not used them yet so I don’t want to talk about them too much at this point. They all feel very nice and look really sleek & professional. These are known to be MAC brush dupes and from the looks of things they seem to live up to the hype. This set of 7 eyeshadow brushes is available here for $39.
Please stay tuned for my full reviews on these products here and of course on my YouTube channel. Give me some time to really test these babies out.
