MAC Tone: Grey palette
So I somehow ended up at the CCO again and I ended up returning the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural & Shimmer that I picked up about a week ago. I still love the actual MSFN but I wasn’t too crazy about the shimmer side and it was annoying having to “be careful” when picking up product on the brush in order to avoid the shimmer. I’d rather pay full price for a regular MSFN at the counter. I do still love the Sunny By Nature MSF that I grabbed.
The CCO was kind of a bust when I went. It was the same stuff that they always have but I think I might go too much. I went to the Napa CCO last week and this week I did go to the Vacaville one. As usual, Vacaville was a disappointment. I did grab an eyeshadow palete in Tone:Grey.
This is a cool toned grey palette that is right up my alley. I have been looking for some nice grey shadows that aren’t too shimmery or frosty and don’t lean too blue. This palette does lean a touch blue but I still like it.
It’s really hard to photograph blues and purples so that they are true to life but I tried. This is a limited edition palette but I’m sure you can find this at your local CCO.
I think this palette is great as an everyday palette but can be worn as a dramatic smokey eye as well. I’m really excited to play with it. A Warmer White and Tone: Grey are both Satins and they are actually almost matte. The Right Smoke and Waft are both frosts but they aren’t frosty to me at all…. just the perfect amount of sheen. I don’t recall seeing these shadows in any other palettes or promoted as singles.
Oh I did grab one of my favorite blushes for you guys. I am going to do a “500 subscribers” giveaway on YouTube soon so keep an eye out for that!!!
