MAC Mineralize Haul

I’ve been eyeing the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural for awhile now but I keep forgetting to not wear any makeup when I go to the counter.  Yesterday I went to MAC specifically to try MSFN so I went naked faced!!  So the artist put some on me and honestly I wasn’t wowed by it but I also know sometimes I like the way I apply better AND the lighting is always horrible in there anyway.  Then the artist asked if he could play in my face and do a look from the Riveting Collection.  It was a super edgy, over the top sort of high fashion look that was a little much for a Saturday morning at the mall but I went along with it.  He happened to use Soft & Gentle on me and so I ended up picking up that and the MSFN in Medium Plus.

So it’s probably is a little early to do any type of a review but I am already in LOVE with MSFN.  I will have to use it for a little longer before I write a review but for right now I can say that this makes my skin look amazing!  I seriously kept looking at my skin in the mirror.  It’s really hard to describe the incredible finish but it seriously looks like my skin has a soft focus effect on it.  It isn’t marketed as a foundation but for me the coverage is perfect as a foundation.  Also, it is not powdery at all, it’s actually very buttery.  I will keep you guys posted on this one.

Soft & Gentle is such a pretty highlighter.  Keep in mind that this is not going to provide much color but more of a glow.  I love highlighters that glow not sparkle.  It is a nudey, pink color so I can see myself using this quite a bit.  You definitely need to use a light hand with this to avoid being overly dewy.  I am going to play with this a little more and update you on this as well but so far I’m loving it.
