Suck that gunk out of your pores!!!

So I know you guys all do it too…  You stand  2 inches from the mirror examining every pore and every blackhead on your face.  Some of us use one of those scary looking extractors, others maybe a Biore strip.   Or a “pore minimizing”, “deep pore cleansing” product that doesn’t do anything but make your skin dry.  I have found a way to get the gunk out of my pores and minimize that I feel has been the most effective without being invasive like an extractor or expensive like microdermabrasion. WARNING:  Not so sexy pictures ahead…

You guys know I used to represent an awesome brand called Boots.  Awesome, awesome line and totally reasonably priced.  Anyway, they make a clay mask in their Botanics line called the Conditioning Clay Mask.  It is an oceanic clay mask that contains a negative electrical charge which draws all of the impurities out of your pores.  It literally acts as a magnet and “sucks” all the gunk out.

So before applying you definitely want to shake it well.  It is a lot looser than your typical clay masks tend to be.  You can apply it everywhere but I apply it mainly to my T zone or anywhere I am having problems.  There’s no distinct smell, just sort of clay masky.  It actually feels quite refreshing on.  Here comes the hot makeup free, poofy hair because there’s no product in it pics…  I did it the name of beauty. =p  Oh and excuse the one red eye.  I got hot sauce in it earlier…  Don’t ask.  haha.  I’ve been laughed at all day.

So you can see it starts off dark green.  Directions say to leave it on for 10 minutes but I’m sure I leave it on for much longer.   Here comes the interesting part.  The mask dries a light green but as the mask sits and starts working its magic, you literally see dark spots on the mask where the gunk is coming out.   The first time I tried this mask, I had a lot of dark dots.  As I am using this more and more, I have less and less gunk coming out.  This is definitely a cumulative product…

I know, I know.  You can’t wait to see pictures of the good stuff.  Up close and personal with my pores…

So now you just wash if off and make sure you moisturize well after this mask.  It isn’t super drying but you definitely should follow up with a good moisturizer.  My skin always feels super smooth and clean after I use this mask.  I try and use it once a week but it sometimes ends up being 2 weeks.

You can purchase this mask at your local Target for $8.99!  Give it a try!  You will love the results…
