More Evil Shades swatches
Boy oh boy am I falling in love with this line!!! I just wish I could capture these shadows better on camera! These pictures definitely don’t do them any justice. If you haven’t seen the other swatches from Evil Shades, please do so…
I rarely wear pink and red toned shadows but I think I have some experimenting to do now. Ughhhh these are so stunning in real life. And I LOVE the names of all the Evil Shades products. So Suffocation is this absolutely unique irridescent blue based lavender that flashes blue at certain angles. It looks like a flat pinkish purple before applied but that turns into this awesome color. Panic is a cool pink and very pigmented. Coffin and Erinnye are very interesting colors. They are a mixture of dusty rose, mauve and berry…. sorta hard to describe. Erinnye has slightly more gold in it and is an Illusion shadow so it has that really cool holographic glitter in it. Zombie oh Zombie… this is what I wanted Mac Beauty Marked to be!!! Deep black purple with some red tones in it and SPARKLES…. This definitely applies better than Beauty Marked. Come to think of it, Beauty Marked is overrated lol. The picture of Zombie of the website definitely does not show the beauty of this color.
This beautiful color was hiding while I was swatching the others so I swatched it by itself. Mysteria is another Illusion shadow with the holographic sparkles in it. It is a little more blue than suffocation, periwinkle even… Foiling it brings out the blues even more but still purple toned.
These shadows can be purchased a couple of different ways. Samples are available for 75 cents or you can purchase 3 gram jars for $2.85 each or $3 for the Illusions. You can also just get a set of 15 samples for $9.50.
Now for some glosses! I tested Guilty As Sin and Lethal Kiss. Guilty As Sin looks like a berry color on my pigmented lips while Lethal Kiss just enhanced my natural lip color. They both do have glitter in them but they aren’t at all gritty. They are primarily made of coconut oil which is known for its moisturizing and reparative properties. I love coconut oil so I was happy to see these were made of em…. It does have a lot of slip when you rub your lips together so if you aren’t a fan of that you should probably pass. I happen to like it. The glosses also contain mango butter, vitamin E, pressed rose oil and refined coffee butter. They were scented, one with strawberry and the other coconut….. errr I think? I’m horrible with that lol. Anyway the smell does go away quickly. The glosses are a steal at $2.25 for a 3 gram jar. They come in 9 different shades including a super edgy black gloss.
